There are 4 board categories of engineering. Then, within those, there are further categories. You need to select the one you are interested in.

Also, with time, you need to be witty. You need to select a career that would not only fulfill your interests but also which are competitive in the market. There are some majors which shall be avoided otherwise. The reason is that they are not competitive and thus there is a high unemployment rate for them. Such are physiology, fine arts, and even biology! Always make sure you select those majors which will help you kick-start your career quickly if you can’t afford to sit down right after completing your education.
